The Great Falls Area Community Foundation is dedicated to fostering visionary philanthropy in the Great Falls region by linking compassionate individuals with meaningful causes. For nearly three decades, the foundation has successfully provided funding to various organizations focused on arts, culture, basic human needs, economic development, and education.

Grants have been made to the following nonprofits:
Previous Grant Projects include Sun River Watershed Group Volunteer Programs, Great Falls Scottish Rite Childhood Language Disorders Clinic Inc, Belt Performing Arts Center Floor Refinishing, Pleasant Park Accessibility, Family Promise Day Center, and Youth Dynamics of Montana Youth Mentoring Project. Leadership Great Falls Projects include Eagle Mount Tractor, Alliance for Youth Kitchen, Dandelion Foundation, Royal Family Kids, Grace Home for Homeless Veterans, and My Student in Need.

This year, the foundation is opening a new grant cycle from July 1 to July 31, aiming to support additional organizations within the community. Grants will range from $250 to $1,000 and are available to registered 501(c)(3) organizations or government entities. However, the Community Foundation will not award grants to those organizations that primarily focus on influencing legislation, political activities, religious endeavors, individual grants, debt retirement, benefit tickets, or telephone solicitations.

Organizations may access grant applications via the Montana Area Community Foundation website at
https://mtcf.org/local-cfs/great-falls-area-community-foundation and may submit between July 1 – 31,
2025.
