Great Falls Gazette is preparing to start making training videos to help get new drivers up to speed with what we do. We are looking for a few subscribers or other folks in our community, to allow us to film training videos with various types of delivery. In particular, we’re looking for the following:

* Regular Mailbox (we want to show what NOT to do)
* Mailbox with a integral motor tube
* Mailbox with paper hanger hooks below
* Mail slot
* Front door without screen
* Front door with screen
* Motor Tube (newspaper tube)
* Yard with fence/gate (preferably Chain Link)
* Gated Community / Secure Building (both prefered)
* Alternative placement (hooks, bags, package boxes, etc)

The only thing we require that you do, is to sign a location and/or personal filming consent form, this form must be filled up and executed before we can even schedule a film day. We also ask that if you have dogs, that they be inside or in another yard while we film. While we are dog lovers, it can be confusing for them why we won’t give pats and loves, and generally prolongs the time we will need to film.

All of our film locations will have any address or names blurred out, and you do not have to be seen in the video. These videos will be used to help train drivers before we send them out as well as be used as refresher courses for existing drivers for both newspaper delivery and courier services. Most filming will take no more than 30 minutes, and we will work with you to find the best time to film. We work very hard to leave everything as we left it, and do not leave a mess or damage things.

Additionally, folks that would like to be in a training video, we’ll be doing a customer interaction video later this summer, and would love real subscribers to take part. We will be looking for people who can be nice (all of our subscribers are nice, so this is easy!), people who can be confrontational, and people who can be threatening.

So what’s in it for you? Folks that can provide a location will receive a “I Like It Local” GFG t-shirt. For those appearing in the videos will receive the shirt and perhaps some other perks, we’re still working on that part.
