Today at 10:47 am, GFFR’s A Platoon was dispatched for a fire reported in a garage at 140 Riverview A. Engine 1 went en route at 10:50 am and arrived on scene at 10:57. On arrival, Engine 1 found a fire in the backyard shed. Engine 1 was able to quickly extinguish the fire and limit the damage to the shed and its contents, which included a side-by-side. The cause of the fire was determined to be the failure of two car batteries.
