One week ago, the Great Falls Electric (14-2) ran into a roadblock when they challenged the Wenatchee (WA) Bighorns in Washington state on April 25, 2025. Great Falls saw their undefeated streak come to an end when they fell 118-114 to the Bighorns, who they defeated twice to open up the season on March 7-8th in Great Falls, Montana.

During Thursday’s matchup, the Great Falls Electric led the Bighorns, 62-53 but fell 135-129 to their Washington state rivals. KD Moore led the Great Falls TBL team with 41 points. Tavin Cummings led all scorers with 44 and he also blocked four shots to lead his team to victory.

KD Moore and Tremont Robinson-White provided teh first eleven points for Great Falls as they started the first quarter on an 15-4 run. That was the Electric’s biggest lead throughout the 12-minute quareter as the Montana team led by seven (28-21) before the start of the second quarter.

KD Moore scored five points in a 21 second span in the second quarter to help Great Falls maintain their lead (44-31) with 6:23 remaining. Moore scored 26 of his game-high 41 points during the first 24 minutes. Tremont Robinson-White accounted for 12 of his 18 before the third quarter.

Great Falls began the third frame with a 62-53 advantage. Wenatchee’s Nick Fleming added eleven markers during the opening minutes. Great Falls never trailed but managed to lead 106-94 after the third quarter concluded. Lyle Hexom and Brandon Jones provided the final five points for coach Steve Keller’s squad.

Tavin Cummings of the Bighorns guided his team to a 7-2 run to cut their deficit to seven points (108-101) to start the fourth quarter. Wenatchee picked up their first lead since the first quarter when Tavin Cummings put in the long distance three pointer to give the home team a 123-122 with 2:36 remaining that forced Great Falls to take a timeout. The Bighorns scored the 12 of the next 19 points to defeat the Electric for the second time this season.
