The U.S. Air Force is holding three town hall meetings in Montana this month to provide up-to-date information about the Sentinel Program.
The locations and times for the meetings are:
- May 13: Fergus County Fairgrounds in Lewistown, starting at 6 p.m.
- May 14: Fairfield High School in Fairfield, starting at 5 p.m.
- May 15: West Elementary School in Great Falls, starting at 6 p.m.
All town hall meetings are open to the public.
At the meetings, the Air Force will provide an overview of the Sentinel Program and its projected impact on the local area. A question-and-answer session will immediately follow to receive comments from the community about the Sentinel Program.
The Air Force is replacing all Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles deployed throughout Central Montana with Sentinel ICBMs. The project includes modernizing launch facilities, control centers and other ground infrastructure throughout Central Montana.
