From Neglect to New Beginnings: Juniper’s Journey of Hope
When Juniper arrived at the Great Falls Animal Shelter, her condition told a heartbreaking story. Severely underweight at just 47 pounds, with a body condition score of 2 out of 9, she was battling illness and the emotional toll of neglect. But in just one month, with love and care, Juniper has gained over 18 pounds—and perhaps more importantly, she’s begun to believe in people again.
Now at a healthy 65 pounds, this 3-year-old mixed-breed beauty is showing the world her gentle, resilient spirit. Though she can be shy at first, Juniper’s sweet personality shines through in quiet moments. She adores back scratches, will clumsily try to sit in your lap for a snuggle, and absolutely lights up at the sight of a tennis ball—even if she hasn’t quite mastered the art of fetch just yet.
Juniper is looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to heal and be celebrated for the strong, affectionate dog she’s becoming. After all she’s been through, she deserves nothing less than a future filled with kindness.
