The Great Falls Auto Parts Swap Meet is right around the corner. This swap meet was originally started in 1970 by the Skunk Wagon Antique Car Club, which organized the event for 48 years. The last one held by the Skunk Wagon Antique Car Club alone was in 2018.

Since then, Jim and Annette Terry approached the club and expressed their interest in reviving the event as they felt strongly about keeping this tradition alive. The swap meet is not just about vendors selling parts and people purchasing vehicles, it’s also a time for socialization among people who share the same interests.

The Skunk Wagon Antique Car Club is one of the host clubs alongside Altered Classics Car Club and The Other Guys Cruising Association. Together, these three clubs have made the event happen since 2022.

This event is held in the Heritage Building of the Great Falls Expo Park. Approximately 60 vendors inside and over 60 outside provide a wide variety of opportunities to find those perfect parts that you may be looking for.

The Great Falls Auto Parts Swap Meet has become the first car-related event of the year, and everyone looks forward to it after a long winter. They have consistently had a large turnout, attracting people from all over the state, as well as out of state, including visitors from Wyoming, Idaho, Washington, and even Canada.

Vendors sell a variety of items, including vehicles and parts, with a mix of antique and modern options. Most vendors focus on older cars, as many attendees are restoring classic vehicles, but some also provide newer car parts.

The event will be held on April 25th from 12 pm – 7 pm and April 26th from 8 am to 5 pm. Admission for shoppers is $5 per person, which is good for both days, and children 16 and under can enter for free.

This swap meet offers a fantastic opportunity for car enthusiasts to share information and shop for parts. Even if someone doesn’t find a specific part they need, they can make valuable connections and potentially arrange to locate or sell parts in the future. It’s a great time for networking, especially for those looking for classic parts, as not everyone can simply ask for what they need.
