My Neighbor in Need – Older lady with hip issues is in need of a bus pass to get to and from her appointments since walking long distances is too difficult. A monthly bus pass costs $30. If you can help, you can either purchase the bus pass from Great Falls Transit or make a donation to My Neighbor in Need and we will buy the bus pass on your behalf. My Neighbor in Need – Update, See Below: Unemployed lady who recently moved into her own apartment is in need of a gently used/clean queen bed system (mattress and box spring) and gently used/clean couch. Currently she does not have the financial capacity to purchase the much-needed items. Update: We have just received the queen bed system from a wonderful donor. We are now looking for a clean/used couch and then her need will be completed. Great Falls Community Food Bank – The Great Falls Community Food Bank is in need of jelly, chili, canned chicken, canned corn, canned green beans, granola bars, any kind of chunky soup. They are also seeking volunteers for the May 10 letter carriers food drive. Teams of two—one driver, one runner. Any and all items are greatly appreciated. YWCA – The YWCA is in need of someone to assist with some minor maintenance chores. Our YWCA building is showing its age after years of service. Our plumbing, electrical, and IT are all in need of updates and we are desperate to improve our lack of storage. If you are a plumber, electrician, construction worker, or IT specialist and are willing to donate your services to help us address these issues, please contact us! The YWCA is also in need of toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, coffee, Cell phones used/new/with minutes and without (911phones), gift cards, baby wipes, dish soap, and laundry soap.
