On April 16, 2025, deputies from the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the vicinity of Memory Lane and Dracut Hill Road in response to a report of a missing adolescent who had left home following a dispute with his parents.

The deputies acted swiftly, initiating an initial search and launching an investigation into the circumstances. Cascade County Search and Rescue was activated to assist in the search efforts. Throughout the operation, a comprehensive examination of numerous properties and residences was conducted by both law enforcement and Search and Rescue personnel.

After several hours of coordinated searching, the missing teenager was located and received medical attention for injuries associated with exposure to cold weather conditions.
