Registration is currently open for the 45th Annual Ice Breaker Road Race, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 27th. This esteemed road race will traverse the downtown district of Great Falls, following the River’s Edge Trail and crossing over the Missouri River. Participants can select from three race options: five miles, three miles, or one mile. Additionally, entrants may choose to compete in all three distances.

The registration fees are set at $35 for adults and $25 for youths. Each registered participant will receive a long-sleeve race t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, post-race refreshments provided by Pepsi, and an opportunity to win various door prizes. Cash prizes or gift cards will be awarded to the top finishers in each age category, courtesy of Scheels of Great Falls.

Packet pickup, which includes essential items such as the race t-shirt and runner’s bib, will occur at the Great Falls Civic Center on Saturday, April 26th, from 10 AM to 3 PM, as well as on race day, April 27th, commencing at 9 AM.

Moreover, every runner who successfully registers for the 45th Annual Ice Breaker will receive a three-day guest pass to the Scheels Aim High Big Sky Aquatic and Recreation Center. These passes will be distributed at the time of packet pickup for all registered participants.

Volunteers are essential to the continued success of this race. Those who offer their assistance can expect to receive a race t-shirt and a goody bag. Volunteer positions include supporting packet pickup, managing street closures, coordinating post-race awards, and various other tasks.
