
Ralph M. Harshbarger, 77, of Great Falls, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
Ralph was born on April 24,1947 to Mark and Florence (Miller) Harshbarger in Plentywood, Montana. Ralph became a licensed pastor in 1971 and was ordained in 1972 at the Coalridge Mennonite Church. He married his wife, Evelyn on June 12, 1993. They raised 3 children together. He retired from his pastor position in 1996 to spend 5 years as a missionary at Beartooth Christian Camp along side of his family. The following years would be spent working as a school bus driver in both Colorado and Montana before retiring in 2016.
During his life, Ralph obtained an associate degree in auto mechanics. He always enjoyed a challenge to work on engines, even if it meant taking it apart and putting it back together again. He also loved his family and always worked hard to provide for them. He was always very proud of his children and enjoyed sharing his life stories with them. He was a loving husband and father.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Great Falls; daughter, Rolanda Harshbarger; sons, Andrew Yoder and Dawson Harshbarger (Nichole Wright), all of Great Falls, MT; Sister Edith (Harshbarger) Diller (Kenneth) of Hayword, WI; Brothers Earl Harshbarger (Ruth) of Dagmar, MT, Ivan Harshbarger (Karla) of Dagmar, MT, and Eillis Harshbarger (Dawn) of Austin, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Friday, February 28th at 11:00am. It will be located at Sunnyside Church of God at 1801 17th Ave S. in Great Falls, Montana.
