Former C.M. Russell High athlete Allie Olsen has been named one of the four Montana female finalists for the Little Sullivan Award, presented by the Amateur Athletic Union.

Olsen recently completed a five-year volleyball career at the University of Utah, where she was one of the top hitters in the NCAA ranks. She also was a three-time all-academic selection and graduated with a grade-point average over 3.90. Before college, Olsen was an All-State player in volleyball and basketball at CMR.

Other Montana women finalists included Olympic swimmer Katherine Berkoff of Missoula; University of Montana basketball star Dani Bartsch of Helena; and UM soccer standout Skyleigh Thompson of Kalispell.

Male finalists were Montana State football player Tommy Mellott of Butte; UM football star Junior Bergen of Billings; Columbus rodeo standout Weston Timberman; and Kalispell long-distance runner Ben Perrin.

The winners will be announced at the AAU convention in Missoula on May 17.
