Fire Renders Home Uninhabitable February 22nd

At 12:53 AM on February 22nd, Great Falls Fire Rescue’s A Platoon was dispatched to a working structure fire located at 3643 9th Avenue South. All four engine companies promptly responded to the incident. Mutual aid support from MANG and MAFB crews was provided to cover stations 3 and 4 until the arrival of the call-back crews from Great Falls Fire Rescue.

The residential structure sustained extensive smoke and fire damage, rendering it uninhabitable. One occupant was transported to the Benefis Emergency Room for evaluation and treatment. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
