Angela Stringer from Times Square is organizing a Valentine’s Day vendor fair, which will take place on February 14th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at 525 Central Ave. This is the third vendor fair held since they began revitalizing the Times Square building. There is no charge for vendors to participate, they simply need to bring their own table. The main goal is to attract people to Times Square and demonstrate that it is becoming a hub for businesses once again.
Applications for vendors are available on the first floor, across from the elevator. Vendors can fill out the application and either return it to Angela or leave it in the black mailbox next to the applications.
The first event was the Christmas Stroll, followed by a New Year’s Eve celebration where Jason hosted a ball drop with vendors present. For the Valentine’s Day fair, there is no limit on space. They estimate they can accommodate between 20 to 35 vendors, depending on their space requirements.
During the first vendor fair, vendors were able to set up their items in open shops, but as the building is now nearly full, it is more challenging to provide that option again.
