The State Trails Advisory Committee (STAC) will meet from 12 to 3 p.m. this Friday in Helena. The meeting will serve as orientation for new members and to review guidelines for the Recreational Trails Program and Montana Trails Stewardship Program guidelines and timeline for the 2025 application review process.
The STAC advises Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks on trail-related concerns and needs across Montana, including funding, use and the promotion of recreational trails across land ownership.
The group will meet in person, with a virtual option, in the South Conference Room on the second floor of the FWP Annex Building in Helena, which is located at 1625 11th Ave. The meeting is open to public and public comment will be taken at the end of the agenda.
