
Nadine Phyllis Schoemer Carlson was born in Oakland, CA, on August 26, 1945, to Wilbur and Elizabeth (Betty) Schoemer. Nadine spent many years as a teacher in various private schools. She loved teaching Sunday School and lady’s Bible classes as well.
Nadine received her final reward on January 18, 2025 after a long struggle with a rare neurologic disease.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Betty Schoemer and half-brother, Richard Schoemer and niece Kirsten Schoemer. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Paul Carlson. Her daughters: Belinda (Jim) Potter, Jennifer (Vince) Charlton, and Stacy (Jeff) Whitaker. Her grandchildren: Ben (Jess) Potter, Luke Potter, Andrew (Jenny) Potter, Justine (Tyson) Reese, Jarett Charlton, Anna Charlton, Sydni Charlton, Marshal (Jordan) Whitaker, and Wyatt (Rebecca) Whitaker. Great grandsons: Jed and Bowen Reese and Leonidas Potter. Nephew: Johnathan(Ashley) Schoemer.
