On January 29, 2025, at 11:30 PM, Great Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire located at 4811 2nd Avenue North.

Upon arrival, responding crews found a mobile home fully engulfed in flames, along with a truck and various items situated outside the structure. Firefighters successfully controlled the blaze within approximately 30 minutes while addressing the risks associated with the large propane tank nearby.

At the time of the fire, two residents were present and managed to evacuate safely. However, one male resident sustained burns and was subsequently transported to the hospital. Unfortunately, the mobile home and its contents were declared a total loss. A second alarm was initiated, and support was provided by the Montana Air National Guard and Malmstrom Fire Departments, which assisted in backfilling Stations 3 and 4. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
