Shirley R. Tacke passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born on November 29, 1935, in Knoxville, Tennessee to Fanny and James Lonas.
Shirley attended Knoxville High School and spent more than 30 years working at the Deaconess hospital as a ward clerk.
Shirly was a member of the Great Falls Cross Country Club and volunteered for non-profits. She enjoyed camping with family and traveling.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Pam Biggs and Shanna Stamm; sons, Harold “Butch” Biggs and Terry Biggs; grandchildren, Adam Helm and Ashley Hanson; and great-grandchild, Zoe Hanson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 38 years, Victor H. Tacke.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
