At 12:53 on the afternoon of December 17th, Great Falls Fire Rescue (GFFR) responded to a house fire at 208 20th St SW. Upon arrival, GFFR crews found the house filled with smoke. The D Platoon executed a swift interior attack, successfully preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring homes. Fortunately, the occupants were not at home when the fire started, and no pets were affected. Unfortunately, the house is now deemed uninhabitable. The residents have been given information on assistance from the American Red Cross. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
