On November 8th, sixty-two newly appointed officers graduated from the Montana Law Enforcement Academy (MLEA), which operates under the Montana Department of Justice. These officers will be assigned to serve in forty different agencies throughout the state. The MLEA offers comprehensive training that encompasses both basic and advanced modules for law enforcement personnel representing state, county, city, and tribal jurisdictions.

Attorney General Austin Knudsen was present at the ceremony to offer congratulations and address the graduates. “I am proud of what Montana’s newest law enforcement officers have accomplished during their time at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy,” Attorney General Knudsen said. “They will face challenges most cannot imagine, but I’m confident they are prepared for what lies ahead in their law enforcement careers and will serve their communities with integrity.”
