On the afternoon of November 14th, a fire occurred at a trailer home located at 3308 Lower River Road. Responding promptly, the B Platoon from Great Falls Fire Rescue arrived at the scene to observe smoke and flames venting from both the front and the roof of the trailer. Upon arrival, Engine 1 was informed that all occupants were out of the trailer and accounted for.

The crew aboard Engine 1 proceeded to enter the trailer, where they quickly extinguished the primary source of the fire. Additionally, crews from Engine 2 and Engine 4 joined the firefighting efforts, ensuring that the fire was contained and did not extend to adjacent trailers.

Given the severity of the fire, a second alarm was activated, resulting in the return of six off-duty firefighters and one off-duty battalion chief to duty. Furthermore, fire departments from the Montana Air National Guard and Malmstrom Air Force Base were engaged to provide supplementary coverage for Great Falls Fire Rescue stations 3 and 4.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The trailer home incurred extensive damage and is deemed a total loss. The American Red Cross has been contacted to offer assistance to the affected residents. At the time of the incident, there were no pets present within the trailer, and no injuries occurred during the firefighting operations.
