Cascade County’s Willow Creek Road, located in Belt, MT, will be getting stabilization repairs, due to recent slides. At approximately 2.98 miles up Willow Creek Road, on Dawson Hill, the Southbound Lane is unsafe for heavy loads.

On October 9, 2024, Schumaker Trucking will begin to repair this section of Willow Creek Road. The repairs are expected to take up to three days, pending weather conditions. Due to the necessary repairs, this section of road will be closed to all traffic. We ask residents to please be prepared to use alternate routes.

Possible alternate routes may include Jarvi Road and Upper Willow Creek Road. During this time, traffic will be detoured. Please be aware of work signs, detours, road closures, and construction-posted speed limits. Willow Creek Road is expected to be opened back up for travel on October 12, 2024, at 5:00 pm.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding while we make this section of road safer for your future travels.
