The YWCA Great Falls will be hosting the Annual Empty Bowls Event on November 16th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the University of Providence. This fundraising event aims to unite community members in supporting those in need while partaking in a modest meal of soup and bread, symbolizing the battle against hunger and food insecurity.

Local restaurants will generously contribute various types of soups, while local artisans will donate handcrafted bowls. Attendees will have the opportunity to select a handcrafted bowl to take home as a reminder of the issue of empty bowls in our community.

An exclusive preview, the Kiln Reveal Event, will be held on November 7th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Paris Gibson Museum. During this event, participants will have the chance to meet the potters, have the first selection of bowls, and enjoy live music and hors d’oeuvres. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view the bowls that have already been donated for the main event. Early arrivals will be able to choose a bowl for the event and gain insights into the process of crafting and preparing these bowls.

All proceeds from both events will go toward supporting YWCA Great Falls. The events are open to all, including adults, families, and groups, with flexibility in attendance duration. Admission to the main event is $35, and the preview reception costs $70. For further information, please contact (406) 452-1315, visit ywcagreatfalls.org or find them on Facebook.
