
Hikers are invited to a Hunter’s Moon and Sunset Hike at First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park on Thursday Oct. 17 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The three-mile moderately difficult hike is guided by park staff and will last about two hours. Hikers will enjoy the sunset that evening, followed by the rise of the Hunter’s Moon as they learn about the history of the park.
There is a $4 fee to join the hike, which is limited to 25 participants. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the park at 406-866-2217. Non-resident vehicles entering the park pay the normal fee of $8 per vehicle.
First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park is located three miles north of Ulm, just off Interstate 15 at exit 270.
