Human Trafficking Presentation, “Look Beneath the Surface” will be presented in Great Falls on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Alliance for Youth 3220 11th Avenue South from 6 to 8 pm.

This important presentation will be presented by a collaborative effort involving the Montana Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation, Narcotics Bureau, Human Trafficking Unit, Great Falls Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children, and Great Falls / Cascade County Crimestoppers Organization.

Human trafficking is a pressing issue in Montana, with individuals using force, fraud, or coercion to exploit victims for labor or sexual exploitation. The speakers, Agent Jess Metcalf from the Montana Department of Justice Human Trafficking Unit, and Detective Scott Bambenek from the Great Falls Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children, will provide up-to-date information on the state of human trafficking in Montana. Attendees will gain valuable insight into recognizing human trafficking and will be equipped with the knowledge of what to do if they encounter this crime.
