The U.S. Air Force is holding two town hall meetings in Montana to provide up-to-date information about the Sentinel Program.

The meetings are scheduled for September 4 at the Fergus County Fairgrounds in Lewistown and September 5 at the C.M. Russell High School auditorium in Great Falls. Both town hall meetings start at 6 p.m. and are open to the public.

At the meetings, the Air Force will provide an overview of the Sentinel Program and its projected impact on the local area. A question-and-answer session will immediately follow to receive comments from the community about the Sentinel Program.

The Air Force is replacing all Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles deployed throughout Central Montana with Sentinel ICBMs. The project includes modernizing launch facilities, control centers and other ground infrastructure throughout Central Montana.
