The Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center’s 19th Annual Fur Ball will be held on Saturday, August 17th at the Great Falls International Airport Conference and Event Center. This event is the annual fundraiser for the homeless animals at the MC-AAC. Doors will open at 5 pm with event highlights including “Yappy Hour” cocktail hour, buffet dinner, silent and live auctions, award presentation, “Pack the Purse” activity, and a Paddle Raise all in support of these animals.
The Fur Ball is the most important fundraising event of the year for MC-AAC. All proceeds go toward supporting the animals at the center. As a private, non-profit organization, the center relies on service income, grants, and fundraising for 100% of its funding.
Auction purchases play a crucial role in generating income for the center. All winning bids will support homeless cats and dogs by providing them with temporary shelter, care, food, medical treatment, and the love they deserve.
The silent auction will be open before the event, allowing all supporters to participate, regardless of whether they attend the event. Each item will be available for online viewing, complete with title, description, and photos.
A new addition this year is the “Pack the Purse” activity, where a designer purse filled with gift cards and cash will be passed around the room and then auctioned off. Additionally, there will be a Paddle Raise to help reach the fundraising goal.
An award presentation will take place, honoring and celebrating those in our community who have made a difference in the animal world.
