
On Wednesday, August 7th, Ideal Option, an addiction treatment center, hosted a Health, Safety & Recovery Resource Fair in Great Falls, Montana. Guest speakers Great Falls Mayor Cory Reeves and Recovery Advocate Lea Wetzel delivered the opening address to over 60 attendees.

The event aimed to address the escalating opioid crisis in Cascade County and provide information about local resources. The fair featured ambulance tours, CPR demonstrations, and a superhero coloring activity for children, while community members had the opportunity to learn about local support agencies, explore the clinic, and engage in discussions.
Several local organizations participated in the fair, including Ideal Option, Great Falls EMS, Indian Family Health Clinic, Toby’s House Crisis Nursery, Family Promise of Great Falls, The Sober Life, Great Falls College, City-County Health Department, Opportunities, Inc., Dynamic Recovery, and Little Shell Tribal Health.
