Fun was had by all who attended the 4th annual Touch-A-Truck event downtown, Saturday, August 17, 2024. With over 50 vendors, kids of all ages could experience the free hands-on, up-close and personal adventure with their favorite vehicle. Six blocks filled with big rigs, food trucks, kids’ activities and more. Fire trucks, dump trucks, garbage trucks, police, ambulances, bucket lifts and volunteers sharing who builds, serves, protects and feeds our community.
Participants and vendors purchase a sponsorship package, provide food or give-a-ways and show off their vehicles and share their amazing food. Kids honking horns and sounding off sirens fill their hearts and faces with smiles and laughter. Parents could also purchase a $5 raffle ticket for a John Deer Gator Toy Side by Side.
If you needed to get out of the heat, the downtown merchants were ready with several sidewalk sales, promotions and air-conditioning. The event is an annual fundraiser for Junior League of Great Falls. The members of Junior League were buzzing around providing food and water to the participants during the event and waving at the kids.
