The Great Falls Electric professional basketball team will begin their second season in March 2025. Before that can happen, they are looking for a new head coach.

Great Falls decided not to retain head coach Johnny Clark and they are set to announce their new head coach at a press conference on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 2:00PM at The Stadium Sports Bar and Casino located a 1121 5th Street South in Great Falls.

Although no name is being announced prior to the press conference on Tuesday, the new head mentor of the TBL team in Great Falls is no stranger to Montana or Great Falls. He has had coaching stints at the NAIA (collegiate) level at the University of Montana-Western, University of Providence and Rocky Mountain College.

The Electric are part of the The Basketball League (TBL) and participate in the TBL’s Frontier Division. In their first season in Great Falls they went 10-10 under former head coach Johnny Clark. Guard Antwaan Cushingberry received three league awards including being named to the 2024 TBL All-Rookie Team, First Team All-Conference Selection and was the TBL Rookie of the Year. Teammate Lyle Hexom also received an award for his outstanding play this year. He was named to the All-Conference Second Team in the West Division.
