This week’s Electric City Boxing Club Fighter of the Week is Magnus Wagner.
Magnus Wagner is 16 years old and goes to Great Falls High School. His boxing record is 3 wins and 5 losses.
Magnus’ brother Billy “The Kid” Wagner has been a big inspiration on him and is the reason he joined boxing. Magnus says the hardest thing about training is running around the fair grounds.
Magnus loves to spar, he says it’s a different type of feeling when he spars or gets into the ring. Boxing has taught Magnus self discipline, to be humble and to treat people how you want to be treated and to never give up. Magnus says his family is very perseverant and keeps going when it’s hard. Magnus looks up to his older brother Billy, because he has “taught me so much” throughout my life.
