The Great Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is excited to invite you to an open house aimed at providing valuable information about the ongoing 2024 Great Falls Area Long Range Transportation Plan, which focuses on the greater Great Falls area. The open house aims to share preliminary recommendations, gather feedback, and discuss the next steps. This event provides an opportunity for you to drop in at your convenience, view the recommendations, and engage with the planning team.

The Plan is vital in guiding decisions on future infrastructure investments based on identified transportation needs. It includes a comprehensive analysis of existing and future traffic, safety, and road/sidewalk/trail conditions, along with a list of projects to be implemented over the next 20 years. Your input is essential to the success of the Plan, and public participation and feedback is encouraged.

Great Falls Area Long Range Transportation Plan Public Open House will take place on Thursday, May 30th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Great Falls Civic Center, Gibson Room, 2 Park Dr S.

Informational materials for the open house will be accessible on the Plan Website before the meeting, starting on May 23rd. The public is encouraged to review these materials before the open house and share their comments either in person or electronically. The planning team will consider all comments received as the Plan progresses.

Community input is a vital aspect of the process. The public is encouraged to actively participate and share any concerns, thoughts, and ideas with the project team to help inform the final Plan.

The Great Falls Area Long Range Transportation Plan is a collaborative effort involving the Great Falls MPO, City of Great Falls, Cascade County, the Montana Department of Transportation, stakeholders, and the public.

Comments can be submitted at any time to the project manager, Scott Randall, via email at srandall@rpa-hln.com, by phone at 406-447-5005, or by mail at 3147 Saddle Drive, Helena, MT 59601. For more information about the project, please visit www.greatfallstransplan.com.
