This week’s Electric City Boxing Club Fighter of the Week is Ezequiel Torres

Ezequiel “Zeke” Torres is 14 and went to Great Falls High School. Zeke has won 5 fights and lost 8. Zeke joined boxing because he wanted to make a legacy. He wanted to prove to himself and to other people  what he has to offer.

Zeke says the hardest thing about boxing is when you have to show up everyday even at your worst and you have to train and work hard. He says the best thing about boxing is competing, going on trips and meeting new people in the boxing world. Boxing has taught Zeke to keep a good clean mindset and to believe in yourself.

Zeke grew up in a caring family and he says mom has gotten him through a lot. Zeke looks up to Manny Pacquiao because he is amazing in the ring and how he deals with things outside of the ring. Manny never lets anyone mess with his head and stays humble through every press conference.
