This week’s Electric City Boxing Club Fighter of the Week is Elijah Hicks.
Elijah Hicks is a 12 year old who goes to Meadowlark Elementary. His record is 0 wins and 2 losses.
Elijah thought that boxing was cool and one day his God Dad saw him punching and said that Elijah was a boxer and to sign him up!
The hardest thing Elijah says about boxing is the “rounds of 30 second punches”, and the best thing about boxing is fighting opponents.
Boxing has taught Elijah about discipline and not giving up. Elijah has 5 siblings-Tamya, Sareya, Maliyah, Mariyah, Isaiah-4 sisters and 1 brother. Dad Antonio and mom Nequia. They love and support me and we are a musical family. Elijah looks up to his mom and dad and his God Dad-Marcus Collins and God Mom-Antoinette Collins, and also Mike Tyson.
