On Friday, May 24th, employees of Montana Granite installed the new Agent Orange monument at the Montana Veterans Memorial in Great Falls.
The majority of the funding for the monument was collected from corporations and veterans’ organizations.
Agent Orange has had a devastating impact, causing numerous health issues and even deaths among veterans. Many veterans have suffered from cancer and other health problems as a result of exposure to Agent Orange during the Vietnam War.
It is important to remember the harmful effects of Agent Orange and the sacrifices made by the veterans.
This monument serves as a reminder of the impact of Agent Orange and the need to prevent similar tragedies in the future. The goal is to ensure that future generations do not have to face the same challenges and health issues that have affected many veterans.
A dedication ceremony for the monument is planned to be held later this summer, possibly in June or July.
