The Optimist Club of Great Falls has announced the addition of Cassidy G, Terry N, Jeff G, Kyilee S, Dixie S, Xavier P, and Virgina G, as new members of the club. These outstanding people joined the club during our N.O.W. Event (New Optimist Welcome) on March 22, 2024, to help the youth of our community.

These members will bring to the club interest and expertise in new and inspiring ideas. “We are looking forward to the contributions that they can make in our club, and we’re proud to have them as members,” Club President Shelby Kuenning said. “But the most fortunate ones are the children who will benefit from their dedication, and that’s what optimism is all about.”

The Optimist Club of Great Falls has been supporting the youth of Great Falls since 1948. Programs and service projects that the Club is involved in include Great Falls Public Schools Fine Arts Department musical instrument program, Montana Youth Transitions, State AA Girls Invitational Track & Field, and Great Falls Children’s Receiving Home, to just name a few.

Optimist International is one of the world’s largest service club organizations with over 80,000 adult and youth members in almost 3,000 clubs in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico and throughout the world.
