The Great Falls-Cascade County Historic Preservation Office is currently accepting nominations for the 2024 Historic Preservation Awards. These awards will recognize individuals, organizations, or projects that have made significant contributions to the restoration, protection, or sharing of Cascade County’s historic places. The awards will be presented during National Preservation Month in May. The deadline for submitting nominations is April 9th.
The Historic Preservation Office has been recognizing the outstanding efforts of preservationists in Cascade County since 2001. Over 80 awards have been presented to a diverse group of recipients, including tradespeople, nonprofits, coalitions, and property owners, for their work in building restorations, craft mastery, stewardship, research, and more.
