This week’s Electric City Boxing Club Fighter of the Week is Wyatt Beal.

Wyatt Beal is 15 and goes to Great Falls High School. This is Wyatt’s first year boxing. When asked what made you want to join boxing, Wyatt answered “I was already in training in 1 martial arts, why not 2?” Wyatt says the hardest thing for him about training is just showing up. He says there are days when he doesn’t really want to train, but he goes anyway, and then when he’s at training he wonders why he didn’t want to show up in the first place. Training helps relieve any stress or anxiety he gets.

Boxing has taught Wyatt that effort matters. If you don’t give it your all while training, you naturally won’t give it your all in an actual fight and eventually you lose. Wyatt’s mom works at MAFB  Airman Family & Readiness Center and his dad works for Customs & Border Protection. He also has a twin brother, Levi who also boxes, they all mean the world to him. Wyatt looks up to not only his parents but his Jit Jitsu instructors and his boxing coaches.
