Jerry Youngrunningcrane is 13 and goes to East Middle School. His boxing record is 2 wins with 3 losses. Jerry says the hardest thing about boxing is doing sit ups “they really hurt my abs and help my body get stronger.” He says the best thing about boxing is competing because it “helps my future and also the winning.” Boxing has taught Jerry how to stand up for himself and how to do better in school and also has given him discipline.Jerry grew up in a great household. Jerry said that he looks up to his Uncle Frank Kipp who is the head coach of the Blackfeet Nation Boxing Club in Browning, Mt. Uncle Frank inspires me.
