Press release By Ric Holden for Montana: February 16, 2024 – Glendive, MT
Congressional candidate, former state senator and rancher, Ric Holden, has filed for the eastern Montana US Congressional seat district #2. Holden filed for the seat in Helena last Friday ahead of the GOP winter kickoff event held at the Colonial in Helena. Holden received word that Representative Rosendale has withdrawn from his republican senate primary contest as of yesterday.
At this point it is unclear if Rosendale will refile for his congressional seat. Starting today there will be many Lincoln-Reagan day dinners scattered across the state, which include Terry, Glendive, Great Falls, Fort Benton and Havre. Holden is scheduled to speak at each of the events.
Ric will be withholding comment on the current political situation until Rosendale decides whether he will continue in Montana politics. As of today, the Holden campaign is going to continue.
