Thursday, February 15th at 6:38 pm, Great Falls Fire Rescue received a call for a second-alarm fire at 3328 17th Ave S. Engine 3 was the first to arrive on the scene and confirmed that all occupants of the house were safe and out of the building. The firefighters found smoke emanating from the front door of the residence and later discovered that the fire was in the basement of the house. To support the firefighting efforts, MANG and Malmstrom were called in to backfill Station 3 and Station 4, while off-duty GFFR members were called back to duty. Further information will be provided when it becomes available.
