On February 15th, the Cascade County Commissioners announced the appointment of the new election administrator. Terry Thompson was unanimously voted in for the position with a salary of $69,000.

Terry Thompson explained during her interview her years of leadership skills, her attention to detail, and her determination to learn. These traits helped her earn the highest points.
Terry was noted as having a good management background, strong leadership, and a large history and experience background in many things.
She was also noted as energetic, happy, well-prepared, well-spoken, and able to work with different types of personalities.
Nancy Donovan stated “I just wanted to thank you for the process. I was one of the advocates. Obviously, I think Terry Thompson is a great choice and I appreciate being allowed to be part of the process.”
