Great Falls Fire Rescue Responds to Structure Fire

Great Falls, Mont – January 4th, at 11:03 am, Great Falls Fire Rescue was dispatched to a working structure fire at 2930 Carmel Drive. Truck 4 arrived on the scene at 11:05 am to find a fire had vented through
the living room window of the split level home. Great Falls Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, keeping it from spreading to the rest of the house.

According to a press release by Great Falls Fire rescue, the occupants of the home, were not present at the time of the fire. However two dogs were found deceased, and two cats were found alive. The
American Red Cross has been notified and working establishing assistance for the
occupants.
The home sustained major damage to its main level. The cause of the fire is under
investigation at this time.
