Experience the magic of the holiday season in Augusta, where the town comes alive with dazzling lights and festive cheer.
The Festival of Trees will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at Round Up Barn. Enjoy wine, punch, and light appetizers at 5 pm and a live auction at 6 pm. All proceeds this year will benefit Benchmark Wrestling. “All through the week we will have different businesses, or individual people, come and set up a Christmas tree,” explained Paulette Hughes. “We also do garlands and other Christmas items that are silent bid items. But then they do a live bid for the Christmas trees. It’s a really fun community thing.”
Be sure to enter the Christmas Lights contest by contacting Christi Levine at (406) 799-6306. Voting for the contest lights will be at the Festival of Trees, with the winner being announced that evening.
On Sunday, December 3rd, continue the festivities at the annual Christmas Rendezvous. Local stores and restaurants will be offering sales throughout downtown Augusta. Shop the many locally made arts and crafts from vendors at the Community Center from 10 am to 4 pm, enjoy hayrides from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, visit Santa from Noon to 2 pm, don’t miss out on the 50 / 50, and don’t forget to buy your button for prize drawings.
Don’t miss out on the enchanting atmosphere that only this time of year can bring. Hang out with friends and enjoy the celebrations, while supporting the local artists, vendors, and shops.
