Great Falls, Mont – Hunter Renville is a local hip hop musician from Great Falls known to many as Gawdful. He has enjoyed singing all his life and was inspired about 5 years ago to share his music with others.
“A couple of big inspirations was my dad, who got me into hip hop at a really young age,” explained Hunter. “And music has always just been an outlet for me. I hope that my music also kind of gives people an outlet, with whatever emotion, maybe it hypes them up, or maybe it gets them through a sad moment.”
Hunter writes all his songs, does all his audio engineering in his home recording studio, and has amassed over 2.5 million streams of his music across Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and other platforms.
January 4th at Whiskey Ridge, Gawdful will be performing a concert for the release of his upcoming EP The Pitstop. “The Pitstop are songs that I needed to make before I could see the finish line,” explained Hunter. “I believe you can start from nothing, have no connections, not a single idea how to make that thing work, yet still reach the end goal.”
Speed Run and The Dub Revival will also be performing. The doors will open at 7 pm for this amazing concert of local talent of hip hop and EDM.
