GREAT FALLS, Montana – The City of Great Falls is spreading holiday cheer by offering free parking in Downtown Great Falls, starting December 14th.
With just a few weeks left of holiday shopping remaining, residents and visitors are encouraged to shop locally and support the downtown business community. To help in this endeavor, the City is providing free Downtown parking in all metered and paystation locations from December 14 through December 25. Please note that the City will still enforce a two-hour limit for these downtown spaces.
With over 1,000 metered spaces conveniently located within walking distance of more than a hundred Downtown specialty retail shops and restaurants – there is a spot for everyone.
According to Tom Micuda, Deputy Planning & Community Development Director, “Providing free parking during the holidays is a great way to support our local businesses and encourage residents and visitors to shop and eat in the Downtown. Buying locally helps all of us while strengthening our local economy.”
