Augusta, Mont. – Yes Builders is a family-run construction business run by the Strain family approximately ten miles north of Augusta. Ephraim, Yishai, Yoseph, and Ezekiel Strain are brothers who started the business and have been working in construction most of their lives. They grew up learning much from their father, including their hard work ethics.
They have built many houses and sheds in the local and surrounding area and have paused business operations to support Israel during the ongoing war with Hamas by focusing all of their building efforts on “Built to Bless – Sheds for Israel”.
“Built to Bless – Sheds for Israel” is a program the Strain family has created to build and sell sheds and send the profits to help soldiers and families in Israel. “We have two sizes of sheds,” explained Shanae. “We have a 12’ x 16’ which is finished out, so they have the insulation and the wiring and paneling inside. They run $11,000. And then we have an 8’ x 12’ which is unfinished inside, is $3000.”
They have received some of the supplies at huge discounts, which has greatly helped them. “We want to do whatever we can to help,” explained Shanae Strain. “All of the profits from this are running straight to Israel.”
Three of the men from this crew went to Israel to assist on that end, which has left the crew here short-handed. “If anybody is interested in wanting to put their hands to work for Israel, we have a multitude of jobs,” continued Shanae. “Even if they don’t have experience, we have lots of things that can be done.”
The Strain family plans on working on this project full-time for at least a month or so more and then go back to some of their private work. However, if people still want a shed in support of Israel, they will certainly do their best to make it happen.
“This is something that we knew we could do because we’re in this construction line of work. One of our hopes from it is to inspire other people to do what they can do, even if this isn’t it.”
If you would like to purchase one of these sheds or assist them in any other way, please contact them at (406) 381-1915 and let them know you found them in The Great Falls Gazette.
