Great Falls, Mont. – Backyard Productions Montana is hosting an event called Rage for Santa to benefit Toys for Tots. This is a 100% nonprofit event.
Jonah Shirley and Ryan Mullen met doing a local show with local bands and started Backyard Productions company about a year ago. “It’s our mission to try and get back some more music to the community,” explained Jonah. “We’re just very proud to announce it is for a toy drive.” There will be 11 acts from everything from metal to electric dance music for this event.
These are all bands from Montana, a few from Great Falls. “We’re trying to bring up local music and provide local music to the community,” explained Jonas. “We’ve got a lot of local bands that didn’t make it into some of the talent shows around local Great Falls as well. We’re trying to get a shot to help showcase their talent.”
This event will be held at the event hall of The Do Bar on December 9th. Doors will open at 3 pm, music will start at 4 pm, and go until 1 am. Entry is a $10 donation or a new $10 toy all donated to Toys for Tots.
There will be a raffle sponsored by donations from around the community, as well as a 50 – 50 which 50% goes to Toys for Tots. Some donations for raffle prizes include gift cards and items from tool hardware shops and tattoo shops.
