In August 2019, ArtsFest gathered talented artists from across the continent, uniting them to craft murals throughout the Great Falls Downtown area. This event launched the beginning of artistic expression still found throughout Great Falls.
August 11th – 18th will be the 5th annual ArtsFest MONTANA. The Great Falls Business Improvement District says there will be at least 9 new murals going up this year at various locations throughout the downtown area.
Artists will create pieces live on stage at the Downtown Summer Jam Concert, Wednesday, August 16th starting at 5pm, with a chance for the audience to bid on 2 pieces of work created during the opening acts of the concert.
Thursday, the Business Improvement District will host an Artist Reception from 5-8pm on 5th Street South, where artists will be painting live and interacting with guests. A live auction will follow the reception and the Montana Multicultural Fair will take place just up the block.
