Great Falls Clinic Legacy Foundation Provides Complimentary Housing for Medical Treatments

Founded by The Great Falls Clinic in response to the challenges faced by traveling patients, the Foundation addresses the financial and emotional burdens that come with long-distance medical care. Montana's vastness necessitates extensive travel for many residents, with approximately 225,000 people residing in the 17 counties served by Great Falls medical providers, 20% of whom live below the poverty line. The foundation is particularly vital as the Clinic’s outreach program aims to serve outlying communities, where patients often require comprehensive treatments only available in Great Falls. In its mission to enhance care and promote health, the Great Falls Clinic Legacy Foundation has successfully supported over 2,000 individuals in the past three years, with last year’s gala event raising significant funds to provide accommodations for 689 Montanans over 1,768 nights. The Clinic itself caters to over 250,000 patients annually, with more than 40% of those patients traveling from surrounding areas for various medical services, including a robust cancer care program with specialized oncologists. Located at 3004 15th Ave S, the Foundation remains dedicated to ensuring comfort and comprehensive care for patients in need, playing a critical role in extending access to essential health services.
